A few weeks ago, we went to Sandy Point, a beach on the Chesapeake Bay. It was fun and really felt like summer. But it also revealed that Baby O needed some gear for avoiding sun. When we got home I bought him some Baby Banz sunglasses. And a super light UV Blanket. I also […]
Head control here we come. The docs say 5 minutes of Tummy, tummy, tummy time a day (or some tummy time with every diaper change). We have not been tracking it that closely, but O seems to like it enough, especially with the bolster that came with the activity mat. Maybe the Netherlands Brazil game […]
I think we’ve solved the diaper shortage crisis for the moment.
Thanks to grandpa Jay for this awesome baby swing. After several trial runs it has become clear that O loves it, as shown by mr yawn himself.
Many thanks to Susan, Margie, and great-grandma Betty for this Dutailier glider chair. It makes those late nights much more bearable. However, dad can’t use it while holding the baby since Oliver, for some reason, now associates rocking with eating. 🙂
A special merci to our great friends the B’s (writer of the great blog stephmodo.com) who sent Oliver some new shoes straight from France — his first, but hopefully not his last, international gift! A future tap dancer perhaps?
Just a simple click and I’m showing off Lil’O to my best buddy in Spain. It’s amazing how easy it is to pull off a virtual visit with someone thousands of miles away. I use a Mac with iChat for video chatting. It’s the most seamless of all of the video chats I’ve done. G-chat […]
Oliver is testing out the bouncy seat that his cousin Ansel test drove for him. It seems a little big & he’s happy to sit without any movement, but I think it might be a winner in the long run. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday am with a little MoTab “Peace Like […]
This is the spot in our house from which Captain Ollie shouts the orders. We affectionately call it “the poop deck.” Please note the safety-first strap.
